This project aims to track the wellbeing of frontline and key workers in the UK and Ireland during and in the aftermath of COVID-19.

The CV19 Heroes Project is a multi-phase research project that is tracking frontline worker wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK and Ireland.

Phase One, a cross-sectional survey study, has been conducted with frontline (both healthcare and non-healthcare) workers in the UK and Ireland during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Phase Two, longitudinal study, examined how wellbeing and attitudes about working on the frontline change over time. Participants have been invited to take part in a brief follow-up study every 2 weeks.

Phase Three, qualitative study, included telephone/VoIP interviews with frontline workers in the UK and Ireland. This phase enables a detailed exploration of factors that help and hinder people working on the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Phase Four, the longer-term fall out, will include surveys and interviews to find out how frontline workers are doing in the longer-term.
